SCIENCE OF READING · STRUCTURED LITERACY
Evidence-based professional learning for schools, school divisions, and education teams — grounded in the Science of Reading and built for real classrooms.
Who we work with
We partner with school and division teams to build the knowledge and systems needed to make structured literacy work — not just for one classroom, but across a whole school.
Whether you're a teacher, literacy coach, or SLP, we offer self-paced courses and coaching to help you put the Science of Reading into practice with confidence.
We work with homeschool co-ops and private SLP clinics who want evidence-based structured literacy training tailored to their context.
Join educators and school teams worldwide who receive evidence-based strategies, research breakdowns, and professional learning updates from LLCM.
The Science of Reading is clear: structured literacy works. But knowing the research and implementing it well are two very different things.
Language and Literacy Clinic of Manitoba supports schools and educators to close that gap. We offer professional development, coaching, and training grounded in evidence — and designed to work inside real schools, with real teachers, and real schedules.
Our work is led by Britney Morrish, MSc, S-LP(C) — a Speech-Language Pathologist, national board member with SAC, and one of Manitoba's leading voices in structured literacy implementation.

We acknowledge with respect and humility that we live and work on Treaty 1 & 2 Territory and the Metis Homeland, the traditional lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Assiniboine, Dakota, Dene, and Metis Peoples, and recognize the enduring presence and contributions of Indigenous peoples to this land.
As an organization, we are dedicated to actively supporting initiatives that promote the rights and well-being of Indigenous peoples. Through our work, we strive to contribute to a future where educational opportunities are accessible to all, acknowledging the importance of respecting the rights and sovereignty of Indigenous nations. We recognize the need for continuous learning, reflection, and action to create an inclusive and equitable environment.
